The fresh A2 milk of Indian cows and buffalos is boiled and allowed to cool naturally. A small amount of farm-made curd is added to the warm milk and left overnight to ferment milk into curd. The curd is churned to obtain fresh makhan, which is cooked over medium flame to obtain cultured ghee. This is a traditional unclarified ghee and may contain some ghee particles.
Our A2 Cultured Ghee is made from fresh A2 milk of Indian cows and buffaloes. To retain maximum nutrients, we use the traditional Bilona process. The farm-made curd is churned to produce fresh makhan and is cooked over medium flame to obtain the ghee. Our ghee is unclarified and contains ghee particles similar to home-made ghee. This is a sign of purity. Whereas, commercial ghee includes chemicals, additives and uses industrial clarifying machines.
